The Rolling Stones in Oberhausen 13-06-2003

Finally after a long wait, I had my
first concert of this tour.
I went at fridaymorning at 09:00 hour to the field in Oberhausen.
There were a couple of fans already there, and I was seating in the front.
Saw some fans I met at other concerts in 1998
It was a very hot day, so I were standing all day in the hot sun, had to drink
a lot.
The whole field was secured with gates, and in the front of the field there was
the security.
When you want to come in you had to show you're ticket to them, and they searched
the bags already.
When I went in, I was so quick, that
the security forgot to take my ticket, so my ticket is still complete now as you
can see on the pic above.
At 16:00 hour the gate opened, I tried first to come in at the front row, but I did not have the FOS tickets, and it did not
happened.
Then I went to the small podium(B stage), and I found a place at the Keith side
on the left, just in front.
At about 18:00 the Cranberrys came, and I had to say the girl gave a good show for 45 minutes. It's not my kind of music, but still I liked it, she even came for a short time at the B stage.
Then at around 19:30 AC/DC came, they
were great, loud sound and they gave away a super show for 90 minutes.
The fans who came for them went crazy, the atmosphere was good.
Then waiting for the Stones, and about
21:45 the finally came, It was fantastic.
Specially the song "Rock m Baby" with the brother Young from AC/DC.
At that song Keith, Ronnie and the both brothers were standing next to each
other
and played the guitars loud, WOW that was really great.
Keith's Thru and Thru was awesome, especially with the special effects with
Charlie, when he played the drums and the full moon at his back on the screen!
Then the B stage, I never saw them so close, WOW.....Keith came in front of me
and gave me a wink, then Mick came in front of me and gave me a wink too.
Then at the end, I gave Mick a hand kiss with the both of my hands....Mick gave
me a hand kiss back!!!!
I was really thrilled!!
It was a great concert and I went satisfied to the Hotel.
Now have to wait till august to see them again.
I did not make pictures, because the
security was just standing for my nose, and it was absolutely forbidden to make
some.
I had my digital camera with me and did not want it to loose to the security.
